Jaguar I-Pace named European Car of the Year

The Jaguar I-Pace has taken out European Car of the Year 2019, narrowly edging the Alpine A110 sports car for the prestigious title. Picked from a field of seven finalists, the I-Pace impressed judges with its bold design and dynamic drive, despite its eco-friendly electric powertrain. Both the I-Pace and A110 scored 250 points following the jury vote, which was then resolved by counting the number of top marks awarded to each – 18 for the Jaguar, and 16 for the Alpine.
