Audi has teased a new e-tron concept which will make its debut at the Shanghai motor show next week, complete with an array of LED lighting.
It appears the use of LED technology will be so extensive on the new show car that even Audi’s four-ringed logo will be an illuminated decoration rather than a physical badge.
Other design features teased in the short video include angular LED headlights with dynamic LED indicators, though little else is previewed in the clip.
It’s unknown what form the new Audi e-tron concept will take, considering the video only shows part of the front end.
The ‘Audi Showcar Shanghai’ will be the latest in a long line of e-tron concept cars, joining the most recent 2015 e-tron quattro – which previewed the company’s upcoming all-electric SUV.
Carscoops speculates that the vehicle bound for China could be an electric sedan concept, potentially previewing Audi’s rumoured A9 flagship limousine.
Audi says the Shanghai concept will be revealed on April 18, so stay tuned.
