The popularity of Lamborghini and Porsche high-riding supercars has inspired one artist to share their vision of an off-road focused Ferrari SF90.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato and Porsche 911 Dakar have given supercar fans a taste of a high-performance vehicle with off-road potential – by trading a low-slung stance and low-profile tyres for maximum ground clearance and off-road rubber.
While the Huracan Sterrato and 911 Dakar are due to launch next year, iconic Italian marque Ferrari is yet to throw its hat into the high-riding supercar ring – leaving enthusiasts to imagine what an off-road focused prancing horse could look like.
In a post on social media platform Instagram, ‘Ildar’ (username @ildar_project) has turned their imagination into a unique creation, uploading a computer-generated image of an off-road version of the Ferrari SF90.

Ildar’s digitally modified SF90 takes a similar approach to Lamborghini and Porsche – with the artist fitting it with off-road tyres and flared guards, while also raising the hybrid V8-powered supercar’s ride height.
A pair of bumper-mounted driving lights draw inspiration from the Huracan Sterrato, while its roof racks and tyre carrier are closer to the storage solutions offered for the 911 Dakar.
Unfortunately, we likely won’t see a high-riding Ferrari SF90 riding off the Maranello production line any time soon, especially given the unexpected demand for the company’s Purosangue SUV.
As reported last month, Ferrari has been forced to stop taking orders for the luxury SUV, with the Italian company reporting wait times of more than two years for some customers.
