Taliban founder’s Toyota Corolla dug out of ground for museum

After spending more than two decades in the ground, a Toyota Corolla wagon that previously belonged to a founding leader of the Taliban has reportedly been dug up.

According to recent reports out of Pakistan, the Corolla – which was wrapped in plastic and buried to hide its owner’s location – is likely to land in a museum.

Fuel price relief: First minor drop in petrol prices since May

While two days don’t make a trend, we at Drive were excited to see the national average price of 95RON unleaded fall for two days running, suggesting relief at the bowser could be on the way.

Kate Bush and the Ferrari 308 GTS

Any Stranger Things fans who’ve spent the last month blasting Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ on repeat might be interested in checking out the enigmatic singer’s Ferrari 348 (and her photo shoot with a yellow 308 GTS).

Victorian authorities target loud exhausts

A joint operation between the Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) and Victoria Police will target cars with loud exhausts in an effort to cut down on noise pollution in the state.

Authorities will conduct “exhaust noise emission tests” and drivers could face fines of more than $1000. To find out more, read our story here.

Hyundai reveals Ioniq 6 production car, N concepts

It was a big week for Hyundai news, led on Thursday by the full debut of the Ioniq 6: a large electric sedan offering up to 610km of range, and sub-$80,000 pricing when it reaches Australia next year. Click here to read more.
