Expect to see a full range of TJM accessories for the 2023 Ford Ranger – including suspension and bull bars – in the next few months.
Australian aftermarket four-wheel drive accessory company TJM has teased its upcoming range of equipment for the 2023 Ford Ranger, ahead of a full reveal in the ‘next few months’.
The image supplied by TJM shows a new Ford Ranger equipped with a Venturer-style folded steel bull bar, complete with an integrated light bar in the single hoop.
While no other accessories are visible in the teaser image, Drive understands TJM will offer a wide range of accessories including (but not limited to) XGS suspension parts, Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) upgrades, a range of bullbars, underbody and side protection.
“We’re seeing the first batch of 10,000 or so Rangers arrive on our shores. That is thousands of vehicles we cannot wait to see rolling up to our fitment centres for the upgrades they deserve,” said Peter Sparkes, Head of Engineering at TJM.
“Across the next few months, our premium suite of products will be available to ensure these beasts are truly equipped for the Australian outdoors.”
TJM’s parent company – Aeroklas Asia Pacific Group – recently acquired Tough Dog, a popular Australian suspension brand.
This news marks more than $100 million worth of investment the last seven years from Aeroklas, which includes acquiring companies TJM (2015), Flexiglass (2018) and Bocar (2018).
TJM’s announcement will no doubt be followed by more aftermarket companies, all of whom were pipped out of the blocks by ARB 4×4, in partnership with Ford.
ARB’s strategic partnership with Ford gave it a head start in the development of its accessories compared to its competition, and is in the unique position of providing a range of co-branded, factory-backed accessories.
The 2023 Ford Ranger began arriving in dealerships this month, with 10,000 examples of the ute slated to arrive over the next two months.
While some Australians will experience lengthy delays in waiting for their Ranger, Ford has recently ramped up production to meet high demand.
