Millions of dollars worth of luxury cars have been destroyed during the floods that tore through Florida earlier this month.
Footage has emerged of a garage in Miami full of exotic cars, which have fallen victim to the floods that swept Florida.
The video posted on Instagram by @florida_corvette_owners shows a garage engulfed in water, with floating grime and a generator likely still pumping water out of the garage.
Two Rolls-Royce Cullinan luxury SUVs, a Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, C7 Chevrolet Corvette, one oddball Plymouth Prowler, and several Ferraris including an SF90 Stradale are among the cars in the collection.
The caption states, “Remember that scuba diving corvette from the other days [sic] storm? Well, looks like not everyone was so lucky. RIP.”
It’s not the only video that has been linked to these severe floods, as last week a C8 Corvette was seen driving through dangerously high levels of water, almost becoming completely submerged. Reportedly, the vehicle made it out unscathed.
Winds of 64km/h were reported during Tropical Storm Alex, while rainfall was heaviest in the suburb of Hollywood, not far from Miami (377mm).
