6.0-litre V12 petrol engine, and old-school manual transmission. The successor to the
Pagani Huayra hypercar – codenamed the C10 – appears to have broken cover early, courtesy of multiple online sources including Instagram user Varryx.According to the publisher, the new images show an early version of the low-slung two-seater from mid-2020.

The current Pagani Huayra
Design inspiration appears to be drawn from the Pagani Zonda, which made the brand famous in the late 1990s.
The report suggests an updated version of the existing
6.0-litre V12 twin-turbo engine from Mercedes-AMG will send drive to the rear wheels, via a choice of manual or dual-clutch automatic transmissions. No hybrid or electric powertrain will initially be available.Specifications are anyone’s guess, but it’s fair to suggest the new model would exceed the capabilities of its predecessor, indicating an output of more than 560kW/1000Nm is likely in standard guise.

Varryx claims less than 300 total units are destined for production, following an official launch this June.
While not confirmed, it’s believed a handful have been earmarked for Australia.
The
Huayra went on sale in 2011, priced from the equivalent of approximately $AU2 million. It’s likely the C10 will cost the same – or more – than its predecessor.Stay tuned to Drive for all the latest updates.
