Japanese car maker Nissan has revealed a Dog Pack for Australia, along with a host of accessories to ensure a comfortable and safe journey for your pet.
The Nissan Dog Pack is the latest merchandise offering from the Japanese car maker, promising a more secure and easy ride for pets.
The pack is available in three Nissan models in Australia – the Qashqai small SUV, X-Trail. mid-size SUV and Patrol large four-wheel-drive.
The kit includes a rear protection tray or mat, a reflective boot-lip protector, a four-piece dog travel set (including an easy-store bowl, a lead, a waste bag holder and a sealable food bag), plus an over-seat cargo area organiser and an all-terrain dog bed.
To ensure seamless entry and exit from the vehicle, there are other inclusions such as a ramp that can extend 1.6 metres from the boot lip to the ground. When not in use, the ramp retracts to fit in the rear cargo area or under a seat.
For extra safety during travel, there’s also the option of a sturdy cargo barrier that separates the rear cargo area from the cabin, giving added assurance that your pet doesn’t move around the cabin of the vehicle.
“For so many of us, our pets are like a member of the family, and now it’s easier than ever to bring your dog along with you on your next road-trip, whether to the local park or to the other side of the country,” says Nissan Australia managing director, Adam Paterson.
The Nissan Dog Pack can be purchased from Nissan dealerships across Australia and starts from $339 for smaller pets. The Dog Pack complete with additional accessories such as the ramp and cargo barrier are extra.
