The 2022 BMW i4 has been officially unveiled, ahead of its Australian launch in the first quarter of 2022 (January to March inclusive). Following the release of the first images and a handful of key statistics in late March, BMW has handed down full details of its rival for the Tesla Model 3 and soon-for-Australia Polestar 2 sedans, confirming the i4 will be offered with a choice of two electric powertrain options at launch – including one fettled by BMW's hallowed M division.
