Toyota Australia has recalled 7671 examples of its C-HR SUV, citing a potential fault with the fuel pump. The affected vehicles were sold between 2 December 2019 and 26 May 2021 (Model Years 2019 to 2021). The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says: “The internal components of the fuel pump may wear and fracture the welded area of the fuel pump, which could lead to a fuel leak in the engine compartment.
