Hyundai Australia has issued a recall of 91,572 examples of its Hyundai Tucson SUV (MY15-20) due to a potential fire risk with a circuit board, which forms part of the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says a short circuit in the electronics poses an increased risk of fire within the engine compartment – even when the engine is off.
