A rebodied Mazda MX-5 – named the Grand Albaycin – has been officially unveiled by Spanish coachbuilder Hurtan. The Spanish roadster shares its Japanese cousin's standard 1.5- and 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engines, producing 97kW/152Nm and 135kW/205Nm respectively. Hurtan – which already offers rebodied variants of the Chrysler PT Cruiser and Jeep Wrangler – says it received Mazda’s blessing for the 1930s-inspired project.
