The Hyundai i30 sedan is currently “unrated” for crash safety by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) and may only earn four stars if tested locally. While the 2021 Hyundai i30 sedan meets or exceeds Australian Design Rule safety requirements, ANCAP has become the default benchmark for crash safety because it has more stringent criteria.
