Volvo C40, XC100: compact coupe SUV and giant luxury flagship in the works - report

According to unnamed dealer sources in the UK, Volvo is planning to add two new crossovers to its lineup, as reported by Automotive News. The new C40 and XC100 will, the report claims, slot into Volvo’s line-up beneath the XC40 and above the XC90 respectively. Volvo’s all-electric C40 will be a small, coupe-style SUV catered towards younger buyers. The dealer sources claim the C40 will be “diminutive” and a “sporty-looking version of the XC40”.
