Subaru of America has issued an apology to its dealerships across North America after a special edition Forester with a rude name was revealed at the 2020 Singapore motor show this month. American publisher, The Drive, acquired a Subaru letter sent to dealers last Friday stating the car, named Forester Ultimate Customised Kit Special, was an “unfortunate situation” and that “Subaru of America Inc and Subaru Corporation had nothing to do with this.”
