Mini has revealed the Cooper SE, its first ever series-production electric vehicle. Power in the electric Mini comes from a 135kW/270Nm electric motor on the front axle, allowing the three-door hatch to accelerate from 0-60km/h in 3.9 seconds and 0-100 in 7.3 seconds. Top speed, meanwhile, is limited to 150km/h. The motor is fed by a 32.6kWh lithium-ion battery pack which the company says is ‘model specific’, allowing for a claimed driving range of 235 to 270 kilometres.
