Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled the 2019 A-Class, over concerns about the high-beam activation lever. According to the company, the high-beam lights can't be deactivated using the column stalk when the headlights are in auto mode. Instead, the driver has to put the car into 'manual driving light' mode, at which point they'll be able to dip the high-beams. If the driver can't deactivate the high-beam system, there's a risk they'll dazzle oncoming drivers and create a risk of accident.
