Sergio Marchionne has been voted '2018 World Car Person of the Year' by the World Car Awards jury, after his sudden passing in July last year. The award was voted on this week by more than 80 jurors from 24 countries, and was presented to Marchionne's replacement as Fiat Chrysler chairman and chief executive, Mike Manley. “It is an honour for me to receive this recognition from the World Car Awards’ jury, made posthumously to Sergio Marchionne," Manley said of the award.
