Peugeot has produced its one millionth 308 this past week, along with the 500,000th 3008, both rolling down the production line at almost the same time. According to the French brand, the 308 is being built at a rate of 860 vehicles per day, while the 3008 is running at over 1000 units a day. The plant is said to be running seven days a week to meet global demand. The current generation 308 hatchback and wagon range first launched in 2013, while the 3008 was introduced globally in 2016.
