The Holden Commodore has been recruited by the South Australia Police, with "more than 100" set to join the state's enforcement fleet over the next two years. Holden has been supplying the SA Police with vehicles since 1948, with this latest agreement marking 70 years of service by the Lion brand. In terms of variant, the vehicles supplied to the South Australian authorities will be based on the Commodore RS trim level, fitted with the 3.6-litre naturally-aspirated V6 and all-wheel drive.
