A report from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) has revealed autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is included as standard in 10 times more vehicles than 2015. The study has tracked whether the potentially life-saving technology is not available, optional, available on higher models, standard or unknown in the 100 best-selling cars in Australia through December 2015, June 2016, June 2017 and March 2018, tracking its rapid uptake in new cars.
