The 2017 Range Rover Evoque Landmark special edition has been announced this week, celebrating six years and over 600,000 units of the British company’s smallest luxury off-roader.
Priced from $74,351 before on-road costs with the 2.0-litre Td4 180 turbo-diesel engine, the Evoque Landmark is offered in three colours – Moraine Blue (unique to the Landmark), Yulong White and Corris Grey – and comes equipped as standard with the ‘Dynamic’ body kit, grey exterior highlights (including a contrasting panoramic roof), 19-inch gloss dark grey alloy wheels, a brushed satin centre console trim, and perforated Ebony leather seats with contrasting ‘Light Lunar’ stitching.
Options include Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) 10-inch InControl Pro touchscreen infotainment system and the Connect Pro package, which includes access to mobile apps like Spotify along with a 4G WiFi hotspot.
After its debut in 2011, the Range Rover Evoque has become the brand’s most popular model, with one rolling off the production line every 170 seconds. From its Halewood plant, Land Rover exports the small luxury crossover to 130 markets around the world.
Range Rover says it has built more than 600,000 examples of its smallest model, with nearly 18,000 units sold internationally in March 2017 alone.
So far this year, the company has sold 1229 Evoques in Australia, ahead of all its competitors other than its Land Rover Discovery Sport stablemate.
The 2017 Range Rover Evoque Landmark special edition will make its public debut at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on May 10.
Available to order now, first Australian deliveries are expected at the end of the late third quarter or early fourth quarter this year.
