Japanese premium marque Infiniti remains committed to the expansion of its dealer network in Australia, with an eleventh showroom to open its doors later this year.

The brand’s initial launch in 2012 saw Infiniti Centres open in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Since then, there are now dealerships in Perth, Canberra and Adelaide, along with South West Sydney, the Gold Coast, Castle Hill and Newcastle.

Later this year, Infiniti Centre Doncaster (Victoria) will be added to the portfolio, and the company remains committed to opening more showrooms.

Speaking with CarAdvice at the local launch of the new Q60 Red Sport coupe (below) this week, Bernard Michel, manager for product planning at Infiniti Cars Australia, said expanding the network and building customer confidence is a prime focus for the brand.

“We’ve gone from three dealers to almost 10 now, and continue to build that. For us it’s about ensuring we have a future in the country and instilling that confidence in people that we are here for the long term,” Michel said.

“It’s a slow burn with the brand. It’s going to take some time.”
