2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition revealed for New York motor show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 5, 2017) – The calendar says 2017, but Nissan is offering a special early preview of the 2018 370Z Coupe Heritage Edition at next week’s New York International Auto Show. The Heritage Edition honors the iconic Nissan sports car as it approaches its 50th anniversary at the end of the decade since its launch under the Datsun brand.

The 2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition has been revealed this week ahead of its debut at the coming New York motor show.

Featuring enhancements that will be introduced as part of a 2018 model-year update (for US models at least), the 370Z Heritage Edition honours the 50th anniversary of the Z car, which will take place at the end of the decade – yes, Nissan is celebrating the milestone a couple of years early.

Headlining inclusions for the Heritage Edition and the 2018 model-year 370Z include revised headlight and tail-light treatments, and a new high-performance clutch from Exedy for manual models.

The Chicane Yellow Heritage Edition features black mirrors, gloss black graphics and yellow interior trim highlights, while the Magnetic Black version includes gloss silver exterior graphics and yellow interior trim.

Under the bonnet is the familiar 3.7-litre V6, developing 245kW of power and 363Nm of torque, sent to the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic.
